By downloading, installing, or using the Polvio mobile application or website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Polvio is a personalized political news platform that aggregates publicly available news articles, tracks politicians, and provides analytical tools to help users understand global politics. The Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute political advice or endorsement of any political party, candidate, or viewpoint.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Not share your account credentials with any third party.
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to distribute misinformation, spam, or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the Service without prior written permission.
• Use the Service in any manner that could impair or overburden our infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

News articles, headlines, and summaries displayed on Polvio are sourced from third-party publishers via RSS feeds and public APIs. Polvio does not claim ownership of third-party content and links back to original sources. All third-party content remains the intellectual property of its respective owners.

The Polvio name, logo, interface design, and original software are the intellectual property of Polvio and may not be used without prior written consent.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Polvio offers a free tier and optional premium subscription plans. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.

Refunds are handled in accordance with the refund policy of the respective app store platform. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• News content displayed is accurate, complete, or up-to-date.
• The Service will meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Polvio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings in the app.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
